The new four-story, 96,500-square-foot will include: common areas to encourage collaboration among students and South Jersey business leaders; a “hatchery,” where students can develop their own entrepreneurial ventures; and the Center for Business Professionalism, where students will sharpen their job search skills and employers can conduct interviews with job-seekers.
Ultimately, Pennoni recommended Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) elements to improve the loose underlying sand layers instead of deep foundation systems such as 35 feet deep timber piles. The RAP system was selected over the deep foundation option based on schedule and vibration concerns.

Established in 1995, GeoStructures consists of geotechnical and structural engineers that provide marketing and design services in support of its sister company GeoConstructors (established in 1997). GeoConstructors provides design-build construction services for ground improvement, (Aggregate Piers, Geopier, Impact Pier Displacement Piers, GeoConcrete Columns, Rigid Inclusions, Ductile Iron Piles & Rapid Impact Compaction), structures-walls (Soundwalls, Retaining Walls, MSE Walls, Post and Panel Walls, Concrete Arches and Bridges) and slope stability applications (SRT Plate Piles, Drilled Shafts, Geogrid Slope Reinforcement, and Landslide Stabilization). These technologies are used to solve customer problems ranging from settlement control of building, tank and MSE wall foundations, liquefaction mitigation, and support of load transfer platforms, to landslide corrections for shallow and deep seated slope failures, and creating economical grade separation options with steepened slopes.
