EVENT: GeoStructures/GeoConstructors Annual Field Training and Company Picnic (June 5th)

On Monday, GeoConstructors field employees participated in a nationwide 2017 Fall Prevention Stand-Down. Employees started at 6 am receiving their annual hearing test, pre-planning for falls, reviewing fall protection equipment and rescue plans, and inspection needs. Loudoun County Fire Rescue Special Tactical Team joined the training to review injuries and treatment that would be part of a critical fall. Employees wrapped up the morning with an interactive training with the area Sala Fall Protection Representative on our body’s force impact with fall protection as well as training with a rescue demonstration.

Following training, GeoStructures and GeoConstructors employees spent a fun-filled afternoon at Harpers Ferry Adventure Center in Harpers Ferry, WV participating in zip lining and the 1st Annual Geo Cornhole Tournament.  16 teams competed to earn the prestigious honor of being named the 1st Geo Cornhole Champions.  Mark DeMatteo and Chad Verdin of GeoStructures took home the title as the 2017 Geo Cornhole Champions and each received 2 movie tickets.
