Mat foundations supporting heavy manufacturing equipment could not exceed a maximum total and differential settlement of 0.25 inch.
A total of 1353 Grouted Displacement Impact® element were installed to provide increased bearing capacity and control settlement for all column footings and machine foundations. The settlement criteria for the heavily loaded equipment assembly slab was 0.25 inch max allowable settlement criteria.
